Our Mission

To inspire, empower, and connect people to their emotions through sound.

Music has the ability for us to connect, to feel what has never been felt before, and to emotionally engage the mind, body and soul.

Music has the ability for us to connect, to feel what has never been felt before, and to emotionally engage the mind, body and soul. We have all had such an experience with music that makes you want to dance, stomp your feet or it evokes pain or sadness. This connection to sound is inexplicable. We as an institution are focused on understanding and unlocking the healing power of sound in order to bridge this gap of the inexplicable connection to something more tangible. Music unlocks our inner experience, prompting us to hear the different impulses within us from mind and soul. It kindles a compassionate inner dialogue and enables communication to flow easily.

This musical approach to communication and inner exploration was adopted by Guru Nanak Sahib, the founder of the Sikh faith, and taken on by his successors. Our curriculum for the musical navigation of experience is taken from the Siri Guru Granth Sahib JI. Its universal wisdom is brought to life in 60 different raags (emotional moods) prescribed within the text for its recitation.

Raj Academy Conservatoire is the largest institution worldwide delivering quality education and training to empower all individuals to become emotionally intelligent through the ancient techniques of Sikh music to transform the mind and heal the world.

Bhai Gurdas Ji*
Within every home let there reside a sacred shrine where the praise of the Divine is continuously sung.
In the philosophy of Sikh Music, the secret is to relate to musicology the precise way in which sound directly manifests emotion and deeper truth. Only after we have truly experienced this can we create ‘real’ sacred music, which can make contact with emotional pain and dissolve it. Once we have walked the path of experience and connected with our inner divinity through sound, then begins the magic that allows healing to take place and opens the space for joy, happiness and prosperity to enter. We are focused on delivering the precise rendition and application of Sikh Music, that is open and accessible to everyone who is looking for a deeper connection to connect with oneself. We want to help you unlock the healing power of this music and apply it in your everyday life.
