Survey of all Programs of Study

We at Raj Academy have made a pledge to train all our students to the highest academic standard. We have thus created a unique academic education program, which offers university studies in collaboration with Thames Valley University (TVU), the London College of Music (LCM), and several highly respected performers and teachers. This network provides professional training in Sikh and Indian Music, specialising on vocals and a variety of traditional instruments, in addition to composition and musicology.

Through this program you can now achieve the United Kingdom’s first ever nationally recognised university degrees in the performance and composition of Sikh and traditional Indian music, as well as in Nád Yoga.

Except for the LCM Graded Exams, which can be done also online, all courses can be offered only for residential students.

LCM Graded Exams, Grades 1-8 with London College oF Music (LCM)
Foundation Year (full- or part-time) with TVU
B.Mus (Hons) Sikh / Indian Music (full- or part-time) with TVU.

Postgraduate Programs (all full-time)
M.Mus Sikh / Indian Music with TVU
MA Nád Yoga with TVU (starting 2009)
M.Phil Sikh / Indian Music with TVU (starting 2010)
DMA (PhD) Sikh / Indian Music with TVU (starting 2010)

Important part of our academic study program is our web based resouce and media system in our Online School. There, you have access to all resources, you can download and upload many of your assignements, and you will be informed about important notices.
