Foundation Year

The Foundation Year equips students with the basic skills to proceed to the B.Mus (Hons) Sikh / Indian Music course of study. The modules aim to provide a suitable introduction to Indian music concepts and styles, giving students with little or no experience of this music the essential information to study at undergraduate level. Performance skills form the core of this course, alongside an introduction to general musicianship and other musical research modules.

The Foundation Year is currently only available as a part-time course of two years.
